In Pattaya Bay, there are some small islands offshore, offering beautiful beaches, clear water and coral beds. You can reach there either by taking a tour or by hiring a boat from the promenade or pier at South Pattaya. Costs depend on destination, type of boat and some bargaining skills.

Koh Larn or Coral Island: The island stands about 7.7 kilometers west of Pattaya, 45 minutes by tourist boat and 15 minutes by speed boat. It covers an area of 4 square kilometers, offering beautiful beaches, clear water, and abundant coral beds. Visitors can view the wonderful undersea scenery either from a glass-bottom boat or by diving down directly. The most well-known beach is Ta Waen Beach lying on the northwest coast. This 750-meter-stretch of white sand is lined with may stalls and shops as well as boats which stop here first on the island.

There are also other lovely beaches lying along the island's shore. On the south-western side, there are two interesting beaches, Laem Thian Beach and Samae Beaches, each spanning a length of 700 and 100 meters, respectively. Both are visited for its clean beach and serene ambiance, especially Laem Thian Beach. There are now a few stores serving visitors on these beaches. On the western side of the island, there lies another beautiful beach called Ta Pan Beach. The beach is fringed by the beds of coral where boats come every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday to let visitors view beautiful corals under the sea. On the southern part is Nuan Beach which is the ideal for seeing corals as well. Stretching for 450 meters in length, the beach offers a hotel which lodges a large number of tourists.

Apart from these beaches, there are other beaches which are also visited, for example, Laem Hua Khon Beach on the back and front sides and Laemrae Beach. On the island, you will be busy with a gamut of activities, including swimming, coral viewing, para-sailing, water-skiing, water scooter riding, and etc.

It possesses two beaches; one stretches for 250 meters in the northern part, the other is in the south, stretching for 80 meters. The beach is fringed by a coral reef, and there is a walking path connecting the two beaches with each other. Skin diving is possible in the vicinity of the islands.

Koh Phai: Koh Phai consists of other several small islands scattering around such as Koh Manwichai, Koh Luam, Koh Klung Badan, and etc; Koh Phai is the largest. This group of islands is currently under the supervision of the Royal Navy. The islands stand about 13 kilometers from Pattya, two hours by boat.
